I really like the month of April. I remember April being a great time when I was in high school. The weather was starting to get warmer and I loved finally being able to roll down the windows while I was driving in my car. April always felt very relaxing - almost like a breather in the middle of a busy year. September started the school year, October started the holidays, January came and you were coming down from the holidays and then we started practicing for our spring dance concert (I was in dance club and concert was a big deal), and in March came dance concert, my birthday and spring break. When it was finally April I was excited to relax and enjoy spring. I think it was also the anticipation of summer coming soon that made April so much fun too.
We have been busy around our house the past month, but we have definitely been enjoying the warmer weather and while I haven't spent much time at the computer lately I have been hanging outside with the girls, learning to bake wheat bread and working on some spring cleaning.
Ashley is still loving preschool and dance and she and Lauren are dressed up in their princess dresses most of the time now. Lauren is in her big girl bed and loves it. Macy went in yesterday for her six month checkup - I can't believe she is already six months - and weighed in at 16 lbs. 10 oz. and she is 26 inches long. She loves to roll around and just started to crawl in the last couple of days. She is really good at maneuvering herself into tight places.
We had Sid, Natalie and Heather over for some homemade pizza the other night and those of you who have known Jeremy and Sid for awhile will really appreciate this picture.
The laundry is calling and I really need to start getting dinner ready. Hopefully I will be able to post again before too much more time flies by!
