We are so excited to announce that another Peterson is on the way. Things are going well - but would someone please tell me why they call it morning sickness when it last ALL DAY LONG!

Halloween fun (in November?!!!)

Better late than never....right?

If you like Halloween then our city is the place to be. Once again Halloween was a highlight this year. Trick or treating was spread out from Wednesday at Lauren's preschool to the real deal on Saturday and the kids ended up with a huge loot. Mom and dad definitely stocked up on favorites too.

But she scared pretty easy. Definitely her mama's girl.

Lauren's big day

Whoa! It has been way too long. We have had so much fun this fall. Hopefully I can get some of our fun pictures up in the next few days.


Lauren started preschool this year. She loves it! She has the most wonderful teacher and has made so many new friends. I am so excited for her and I love all the great projects she brings home. Her teacher mentioned to me what a sweet girl Lauren is, because she always thinks of her sister Macy first and always makes two of every project so that she has one to bring home to Macy.

Husband of the year

Jer surprised me with a new camera and I was so happy I cried. It (the camera not me) takes the most amazing pictures. And now maybe I can actually get a picture of my girls looking at the camera and smiling at the same time!

A new adventure

I have been too excited for Ashley to embark on her new adventure and start school to feel sad about my little one growing up, but I have to admit I felt a twinge of panic as I dropped her off for her first day. Nothing quite prepares you for the moment you realize that she is growing up fast and that she will only be your little one for a blink of an eye.

We went out on a date the Saturday before school started and she picked out her own outfit for the first day. Had to have the headband and the purse to complete the outfit.

Summer fun

We had a great summer with lots of fun adventures!

My girlfriend taught me how to cook a turkey, so we had Thanksgiving in June...


The girls got to be in a parade...


And then got drenched in a summer storm!


And we had lots of fun visiting family...


And friends!

Still here!

Ahhhhhh! How does time fly so fast? I thought summer would bring with it relaxing mornings and lazy afternoons - if anything, summer has been busier than the school year. But we are managing to have a lot of fun. Hopefully I will have lots to post - actually, I know I will have lots to post, hopefully I will have time to post some of it soon. Just wanted to show off some pictures that Jer's cousin Annie took of our family. Happy July!
